what kind of book report is it. i cannot think of any teacher that would let any student do a straight-up book report on a japanese comic book.

i've taken a few classes where graphic novels would be allowed (i had a class once that had a pretty major unit on graphic novels actually, we read the dark knight returns (frank miller wouldnt really be my preference as an example of graphic novel as literature but hey)).

but yeah doing a book report on a comic book is pretty lame, unless you were analyzing the medium as a whole or something which i doubt you'd be doing in a high-school level course that assigns "book reports"

So I was wondering if someone could explain this line for me
"Next page is 295. 1423 wraps around three times, and hits 295 on the forth lap."
I'm curious on how Ryuzaki figured this out.

Um, how does 1423 wrap around three times to make 295?
Was any type of math involved with this, and I'm an idiot?
Or is the solution alot harder than that, and I'm just not a genius.

Well if (1432-295)/3= 376x3=1128 was there some other number involved?
If its laps the      4th=    295=1432 then he must have said something about other speeds.

This is one of the only lines in the novel I can't understand :/
