Due to it's nature the chan will now ask you to confirm your age upon viewing it for the first time. It is based on cookies and will only display it once per 365 days.

Paste: IP Logging

IP addresses are now logged on HBPaste. Sorry for letting it get so bad, I hadn't realised spambots had seemingly took hold creating about 200 pastes. Now that it logs IPs I can start banning them, it was an obvious feature that wasn't in the pastebin code.


Sorry for any inconvenience any of this may cause.

Created an IP banning script for paste and tested it and it works.

Unfortunately it looks like it's several IPs, we'll see if the post continue, maybe it was only these four IPs sending the spam. Can hope, anyway.

In a bid to stop the spambots, pastes will not be accepted that contain the characters in order "http" in the Poster name.

This should not be a major inconvenience and it will tell you, sorry for this.

My hopes is it is a dumb script and it won't notice it's blocked.
