Has anyone been looking into Granado Espada?

I want to play this game SO FRIKKIN BAD!

I've been following it for about a year, and I'm pissed I missed the closed beta. I just want to try it before I buy it.

I love the art style and setting.

I'm still trying to get the MMO part of it. Like making clans with other people. Or if that's the "Family" part they're talking about. And also about how many people you can make a party with. Cause I know you still get to use all three of your characters in the party.

I wonder if this game could steal me away from FFXI lol.

Free to play with cash shop.

Anyway, I'm in the closed beta, and I must say, the game is beautiful, and the music is INCREDIBLE. It is easily one of the most beautiful online games out there, with incredible artistic style(and I love this time period in costume design), and the music is just... wow.... However, it's a grinder, that's for sure.

Monster spawns are massive. You'll find yourself 3 against 10+ many, many times, and it can become a bit overwhelming. There are a tonne of weapon types, and a tonne of stances too, so that even though there aren't that many skills per stance, and even though there are only 5 classes, theirs alot of combinations you can make.

And, although a grinder, this game's levelling can be pretty easy. Hell, you can level while AFK, just set your guys on patrol mode. Just watch out for the bug that happens when a scout(your healer, who auto heals on patrol mode when not equipped with a weapon) is knocked down(they stop patrolling, IE: healing), and you'll be able to do something else. This can make the game pretty distant however, and I don't see why they just couldn't increase the exp rates and make it so you couldn't AFK, but whatever.

I havn't PvPed, but it seems that a team of musketeers with kneeling shot and execution shot will pretty much wipe the floor with anything.

I've already said to much(NDA and all), so I won't say anymore. I'm going to go start playing Guild Wars now, so later(as in, Guild Wars is more worth your time).

Also, as for those wondering, it has a very high chance of going F2P with cash shop, with the shop mostly reserved for appearance changing items only.

I finally got into the beta, and I have to say -

Granado Espada is not the best MMO ever made, but it earns an important distinction - it's thoroughly playable.

Once they get more than absolutely no character customization (I understand that is in fact in the works) the game will be just that much better. The pose system is neat, the battle system has a good 'oomph' to it, and the party system is nifty. Levels come easily, doubtless to encourage creation of new characters and party compositions. I'm only level 12, but it's been enjoyable. I think this game has a lot of potential, and I'm excited for it to be finished. (I've decided not to really play it anymore until it goes public, since I don't want to dump a lot of time into a character that will probably be deleted.)

Granado Espada = a solid 'B' for me so far.

It starts slowing down after level 20. I kinda stopped playing with my gunner at level 33(rest level 32), in favour of more GW.

Leveling stances is a pain though.

For those who want a good database and such, go to http://www.granadoespada.cc, it has pretty much everything you'll need to know somewhere in there.
