Hartacon 1.5 - Multiplayer Online RPG Arena

Presentation

Hartacon is an online game that allows people to challenge each other in multiplayer battles. It is not a MMORPG.
Each player will have the opportunity to create one or more parties with a given amount of Upgrade Points (UPs). Adding characters to a party and buying equipments consumes the party's UPs. UPs can be gained by winning online battles.

IF YOU HOST A ROOM, YOU MUST HAVE PORT 55556 FORWARDED ON YOUR ROUTER, OTHERWISE PEOPLE WON'T BE ABLE TO JOIN YOUR ROOM.

Remember that your password will travel in clear text on the Internet and that the administrator will be able to see it, so don't use a password you use on sites, forums, email and so on. You will need to enter this password only if you will have to recover your profile after a deletion of the savefile.

I implemented almost every bit of the game from scratch.
I want to thank the people behind the Netplay project and Blizzard for his RMX-OS from which I have learned a lot, but I'm coding my own classes for everything.
I'm using Selwyn's Resolution Script.
The animation system for the battlers is provided by DerVVulfman.
The notifier is provided by Dark32.

There won't be any new release for this game on RMXP, and that's because I'm working on the XNA version.
I have an isometric tileset and map editor ready (video), and I'm working on the actual game.

I thought the Final Fantasy X Battle System was amazing (which, by the way, I'm using for my project), but this is absolutely incredible. Charlie Fleed, you are the man now, dog.
 
The RPG Maker XP version is final, not in development anymore. I worked on it for a few months.
The XNA version has been in development for a few weeks.
 
When I saw "Multiplayer online arena" I thought more of league of legends or Bloodline champions. Not a TBS arena.

It still looks amazing and I've got to check it out! Love the LAN feature!
 
Thanks. Btw, I hired a new artist that is working on character design and artworks for the menu, while my tileset artist is going to finish exams and will be more focused on the game very soon. I'll post new screens when I get rid of those RTP trees.
