Anyone catch the new Halloween remake yet?


If for some reason or another, you don't know what it is, it's a remake of the first Halloween flick from back in the day. It was written and directed by Rob Zombie. Apparently it has fractions of a few other Halloween movies in it as well (?).


I been reading a lot of mixed reviews on the ol interweb. I'm interested to see if any of you fools liked it or not?

I didn't see it, but I'm kinda annoyed that it's a remake/prequil instead of a straight new film. My sister saw it - dragged along really - and she said it wasn't scary at all, and she couldn't watch Blare Witch Project 2 because she thought that was scary. Now, I'm not so sure if I'll even bother wasting a free movie stub.

Was Mike Myers ever scary? He just kind of popped up around corners and stabbed people violently.

I probably won't see it because I hate "horror" movies.

Myers wasn't really ever that scary. I still think the scariest thing in that series was:

No, you're absolutely right. The scariest thing about the series was that they made more than one.

I like em coz they're psycho movies which I like but no halloween was never scary, but neither was the blair witch project that was absolutely shit.

zombie knows how to make a psycho film, i think films like halloween and house of a 1000 corpses are psycho films rather than horror now freddy was horror but wasn't scary just fun to watch.

I think it's funny that people were scared of jaws, makes me laugh.

then again Im a horror buff and they never scare me, im waiting for one that does,although the thing was creepy. but not scary.

totally wasn't scary, just relies on numerous 'jump's. apparently it's meant to give you a heart attack instead of scare you. :{
