GTA V

I play GTA San Andreas purely for exploration and just driving around and shit... is GTA V worth getting? Is the map actually larger / more interesting? Does it have ~freeways~ with interesting junctions and such stuffs? I never really bothered with IV for that reason (I have it, but uninstalled... came with San Andreas on Steam, lol.)

As far as I've heard this game is supposed to have the biggest map yet. You can bet on it that it's better than GTA IV at least, since that's not a very hard one to beat.
I'd be playing it now if Rockstar wasn't still a dick and had released the game on pc right away...

Nah they never release on pc right away. It'll probably be 2014 at it's earliest before you can play it without a console.

imo it was a massive improvement over the fourth one, I was only partially disappointed by the story. The map is tits though.

Latest rumors for the PC version have been March or June 2014. Still no confirmation from Rockstar though, fucking bastards. If it wasn't for the fact that I want to play multiplayer I would totally pirate this just because they're screwing over the pc gamers once again.

At least they're going to release a PC version, they'd be screwing over PC gamers if they just abandoned the platform entirely. On top of that, the PC version will be playable at higher frame-rates and resolutions on machine that can handle it, so again I don't think they're screwing over PC gamers by giving them a version of the game that is literally the best version of the game.

As long as it's a good port, GTA IV was just horribly ported and so, so badly optimised, it took a full year for me to be able to play that game after the GPU generation rolled over.

GTA IV wouldn't run for me on a PC that was very-good spec right then. Not sure if I can play it now tbh.
