Welcome to HBGames, a leading amateur game development forum and Discord server. All are welcome, and amongst our ranks you will find experts in their field from all aspects of video game design and development.

Greetings from Texas

Hello everyone. You can call me Kimi, as that's what everyone else calls me online.

I recently started trying to work with RPG Maker XP that I got like... Last Summer... and majority of the information I needed ended up here on this site, So I decided to join.

I'm a pretty fast learner and I usually try all given methods I can find before asking for help as I prefer to learn on my own.

While my strong point is art, I am slowly work on pixel art. ((Which is a whole different sort of art from what I do...))

All in all, I hope this site can help me make fun games for myself and others. I am really getting into this game making thing, it's kinda fun.

I live somewhere between Galveston and Houston. It has its upside because a lot things happen in both, but I miss out when things happen in Austin or Dallas. D:

I'm not a fan of Columbia either, it's just that's where Star lived, so I went there too. ^_^

Like I mention, I'm actually from Michigan. I only recently moved here like 6 or 7 months ago. :)

Howdy partnurr, welcome to the forums. Yee-haah! (etc etc insert texan sayins here) Whoo-wee tiger, I am sweatin like a P-I-G here listenin to this ere dolly part'n

Lol some of the ones raised in the country have that sort of accent, but they are becoming a lot more scarce. I was born and raised in Houston, so I have a more modern accent than that... except around rodeo time. I make an exception to say yee-haw there. :P

yeah the more rural/less-populated the district/town a southerner hails from, the thicker the accent will be. big cities with a populace hailing from more varied backgrounds (i.e. houston) feature a more normalized, "metropolitan" accent, or a "lack" of a distinguishable accent.

Also hi there :D I was born in Texas (but grew up in Cali and now live in FL).
