I really like it. I like it's message it's saying. The melody really sounds great! I would play this a lot in my free time. You have a great talent here.

Sometimes it feels as there is too much going on. I might suggest that you tone down the crashing just a tad. Also turn down the buzzing a bit. I think it's interfering with the over all feel of the song.

Um, what program are you using for this song? It sounds sort of like a midi and I used to use midi maker. I might be doing some remakes of megaman songs soon, and I want to see if the program could possibly help.

I hope my advice has helped!

its FL studio, using magical8bit plugin for the instruments and some peiced together drum kit i like to use, some 808, some samples, some "hip hop" presets in FL

I have to say that is a very addictive song though. Very creative. If I could, I would make this my ringtone!

I like the sounds you used and proably use them for the megaman recreations if my own instruments don't cut it.

Btw, what's 808?

Hey. This is my first post! I think this song is great. It has a classic sound, it doesn't get boring at any point, the production quality suits the song, the length is perfect, and it's fun! I'm on my third straight listen right now. I can't make any suggestions since I wouldn't change anything. However, I don't imagine this as battle music. Nice work!

Awesome Bro

I love it, the sound is amazing, it reminds me of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for some reason, with a little Golden Axe thrown in there, dayum it's good.

I don't think it's too busy, although I'd like to hear a sped up version of this with a few more high notes, it would sound like a panicky theme, lol.

THe 8-bit sounding one is top notch! I love the melodies in both versions.
THe onluy thing I would change in the guitar version is to increase the volume of the main guitar a bit. Other wise, it's great!

I know I ask alot of questions, but how did you produce that sound with the slayer? I have done some different sounds, myself, but I'm stumped with it.

its slayer2 from ReFX, its kind of a bitch to work with and doesnt really sound as good as id like, but what i do is usually start with a preset and then tweak it a bit. if you right click on the body of the guitar on the vst's little settings window it brings up a list of presets (or click on the little plug icon up in the top left corner of the instruments settings window, and select presets from the drop down box)

and if you look at slayer theres a little setting below the body of the guitar "mode" and its basicly the strumming method the plugin uses, for rhythm i used powerchords and for the lead i used solo fixed, and to get the bendy notes a really easy way to do that is make your base note, then put shorter notes above and/or below it and it kind of just bends to that shorter note. really just play around with it...oh and tube amp and combo cab ive found to sound the best.
