It's the big day... the results are in... I've painstakingly gone through each and every entry to find the best one, and I can honestly say, they were all brilliant in their own special ways. The main theme of every entry seemed to be zombies though.

Dahrkael wins the I <3 Wyatt mug, which has now been shipped, and Zazzle added $16.99 to the price for postage. So a $13 mug became $30. (Yeah, it looks like real-life prizes aren't a great idea for the future).

Thanks to everyone who at least tried to enter the contest, and thanks to Dahrkael for sending the final game. I'll let him post it if he wants to.

To everyone else, sorry you couldn't join in, in the end Dahrkael just loves the site and you all suck! :box:

considering the relatively low proliferation of Gosu around this corner of the net and the dearth of people who know Ruby and have the gumption to use it, I sort of expected something like this. still, sorry it floundered like this. you got a couple people interested, at least.

I was going to enter that contest, but in the past I just haven't had a good experience with Gosu. That's why I had asked why it had to be specifically Gosu before XD

I'll be doing a similar contest in the future but Game Maker oriented and with cash prizes. That will be combined with actual tutorials though rather than what I'd hoped would be idk, group learning? Everyone starting from scratch? I thought it might plan out better than it did.

Oh well, not all ideas are good!
