Google Dark Theme

I am using a crt :P But I still use white google. Because it's READABLE and there's no stupid adsense ads on the top like with custom search.

Awesome Bro

I love any site with a black background with some light text. Looking at a site with a white background is like staring into a lightbulb.

You need to adjust your monitor's brightness/contrast. And you need to surf the net in a room with another source of light.

no it really is technically much better for your eyes to look at lighter text on darker backgrounds than the other way around. it's easier for them to process.

not white on black though, i'm talking about like white on mid-tone, more darkish-than-lightish grey.

either extreme is a strain.

Every time I go to a dark themed website, I end up with black bars across my vision, making it difficult to read, because no one practices moderation with colors. If more people did it that way, dark themes would be much more popular.

Adsense is by Google.

I.. know this. They put it in a banner on the custom search.

While were in the topic of skinned googles, know of any googles with such a theme?

I care. 0_o

I actually went through an issue with skinning Discussion Abyss where I found light text on a dark background easier on my eyes while other people couldn't read it well at all. Black text on a white background is just horrible for me to read and white backgrounds in general hurt my eyes. I think the best thing is to find some kind of middle ground (like the rmxp.net skin).

ROFL.

Seriously, a white back ground with black letters cause my easy to hurt. Plus I start to see afterimages. I welcome the black google. I prefer A black back ground with yellow letters or green letters. If it's possible...

While we're on the subject, what are everyone's thoughts on the h4xx0r theme (see drop down at bottom of forum)? Essentially it's doing the same thing.
