goodbye forever you fucking faggots. thanks for wasting so many years of my life :straightthumb:
not really but it sounds cool and dramatic
Pretty much I am stepping down as a community administrator for a number of reasons. At the same time I am going to be much less active around the forums and irc as well. If you really care why, I have a number of reasons:
It seems more dramatic than it is. I'm not disappearing. I'll still be around. I very much want to start that pixel art/spriting community that I mentioned to you, Venetia. In terms of my role on RMXP.org, it will be the following:
A hidden sort of "technical administrator". I'm going to keep handling the pw ads and stuff like I do now, and (when I get the time and stuff) and going to continue working with shadow when it comes to skin stuff and website stuff, etc. I also still have every intention of continuing work on the mainsite, even though it's become a lower priority compared to my personal projects. On the forums I'll just be a sponsor with staff forum access, like any other staff member who left on good terms.
And I guess that's it. I'm still going to be posting here and there so you don't have to give me the big "i'll miss you man" speeches, but maybe some "thanks for all the work you've done for us" would be cool. I don't know. The purpose of this topic is pretty much just so you all are informed about what's going on with me, as I don't really want to see a million feedback topics all asking why my name is now yellow.
Have a good one, boys and girls.

Pretty much I am stepping down as a community administrator for a number of reasons. At the same time I am going to be much less active around the forums and irc as well. If you really care why, I have a number of reasons:
- I spend too much time here without much reward. I find myself spending way too much time refreshing this forum and I don't even particularly like this place very much. This leads into the next few as well.
- I'm going back to school soon and want to spend more time doing my work.
- I'm going back to school soon and want to spend more time being social (ie. playing Brawl and Magic).
- I want to make something. Right now this is The Engineer, and it's going to take a lot of time to write this. I'm going to be putting a lot of time into writing for this project and it's very important to me to have some success with it.
- Same goes for my thesis, the novel I'm writing (or should be writing). I haven't gotten shit done for it.
- I also feel that I've left my mark on this forum and that I'm not necessarily needed anymore. I was here for the big transition and I think that I played an important role getting this forum heading in the direction it was meant to be. I pass the torch... godspeed and god bless...
- I very very rarely work with rmxp anymore. My major projects have been on hold for an incredibly long time, and some of them I find more appealing in other mediums, especially since I hate RPGs.
- Lastly, and probably most importantly, I just don't really have a connection to this place any more. I only really have been coming here because of tradition. My only real strong tie to the community now is Wumpi, and I have a feeling that she's only around here for me as well. Especially with Teloch gone. A lot of this stuff with this forum was a project with me and him, and it seems clear that it's over (abandoned? or maybe it succeeded, it's hard to really tell). Not to insult the rest of you, but Wumpi really is the only one around here who I care about, and as a whole the RMXP community isn't really my thing.
