Gnome! Gnome!

Nice command of shadows and highlights. The sketchy lines in the background are a nice touch; sort of reminds me of the way the strokes are done in the backgrounds in Yoshi's Island on the SNES. Strokes going in a uniform direction = love.

Thanks.
I was told that gnomes were stockier, more vertically compressed.
Think so? Now that I think about it, all I did was stick an overly sized head on top of a normal body. I tried to crunch it a bit, but I guess not enough.

I like to study my doodles a lot, I realize how bad they are days after wards, after many examinations of them, and how most of them are good because of a certain way I was feeling.

For example, the group to the left of the owl, a mere gathering of scribbles, is just that. I didn't feel like drawing something coherent. The clown on the bottom right is something from Billy and Mandy.

Study your works! Learn.
