Gay or Straight?

Some are homosexual, some are heterosexual, some are bisexual, and some are curious. It would be almost impossible to speculate on a person's sexual orientation based on only one fetish or attraction.

Their desires could easily be described as a fetish... or they could be homosexual.

But the thing is, sexuality is just one of those things you just cant use data to explain, everyone's different, they all have their different desires.

So really it could anything.

I'm a little confused on the term transsexual. Are we talking about girls who used to be guys? Guys who pretend to be girls? Or the other way around, Girls who are now guys? Chicks with dicks? Somewhere in between like a hermaphrodite?

When it talks about dating it would make sense that a guy would be more comfortable with someone that they know could relate to them. So that could be a girl that used to be a guy or a girl who identifies as a guy...Who was it that wished they could understand a girls mind? Now they don't have too.

Technically, there are different definitions depending on the context. In most cases (ie. real-life situations), a transexual or transgender is a person who was born in the wrong body anatomically. These are people who would grow up and get sex changes to become the person they're meant to be. It's an actual physical condition, where their minds and whatever are genetically one gender but they have the sexual organs of the other.

However—the articles you linked to are explicitly talking about pornography and sexual fetishes, in which case the term pretty much exclusively means "chicks with dicks".

Any my answer to the question—as someone who openly admits to being into that stuff—it's not homosexual, but it'd fall into the overall "queer/lgbt/etc" category of sexuality. In other words—it's totally normal and should be acceptable, but it's certainly on the "gay" spectrum of things in the minds of most people. Ultimately, though—remember this: it's very difficult to claim that the fetish is homosexual in nature. Because the outward appearance of the transexuals in this type of porn is female (ie. their faces, hairstyle, voices, personality, etc), these people identify as female and for all practical purposes should be considered female.

I think deep deep inside everybody is pansexual!
Whatever they're into, good for them xD
Gay, straight, bisexual...doesn't make a difference to me.

This.

Although when it comes to preferred fetishes in porn, I think that a person's real-life sexual orientation takes a back seat. I know straight men who love gay porn, and I know gay people who enjoy straight porn. When it comes to porn, a lot of the interest is in the unknown and in different things. It's entirely possible to enjoy gay porn while being situated on the very straight end of the spectrum of sexuality.

When I watch transexual porn, I do not consider it gay at all, out of respect and understanding of the women in the videos. When the girls are fucking the guys though—then it gets a bit gay. But in a good way (then again, it's gay always in a good way?) But at the same time, that doesn't even matter if it's gay or not in the video—because the porn we watch doesn't necessarily reflect on our personal tastes in real people. It just comes down to what gets us off. And if it's hot, it'll get us off.

This is just another example of humanity's incessant need to categorize things that ought not be categorized. I can understand the desire to organize folks into groups. It makes things simple, it can help people feel like they belong somewhere, and it's fantastic for research purposes. Unfortunately it also results in people being excluded from the groups and feeling alienated and out of place. What makes it worse is our habit of attaching social stigmas to those who are unable to fall into place. A tomboy or feminine male will often receive ridicule, it has been argued that it is our attempt to push folks back into our preconceived notions of what is 'right.' In other words, we're uncomfortable with people who are outside of the categories we make, so we attack them. Is it good of us to do this? No. But it happens. Then again, we categorize different actions as good or bad. Whether or not there is an objective good is another debate.

With regard to sexuality, we have different categories we associate ourselves or others in: gay, straight, bisexual, bicurious, whatever. But on the whole, we're the ones who have decided to group our collective fetishes and attach a name to them. I find the need to figure out where a particular fetish (like transsexual attraction) frivolous in light of the greater reality that sexuality as a whole is a social construct.

Imma eat a cookie now bai!

They're still human. They changed their gender because they weren't happy with themselves in the first place.
So every transexual deserves a chance.

Not with me though. I'm taken. X3

Fetishes generally don't relate to *what you'd do in real life*.

This came up in the pedophilia/necrophilia thread. Most pedophiles wouldn't fuck a child in real life, it's just a fantasy. I think that this also applies to gay porn. Especially applies to lesbian porn (think of it this way, if you're a guy you're never going to have lesbian sex. Would you still masturbate to it? Probably.)

However I am also of the opinion that everyone is porn pansexual. I understand people have their preferences but I do not think it's as simple as "he's a guy, NO. She's a girl, YES."

There's soooo many factors that come into play.

I mean. You wouldn't fuck a man? Would you fuck a girl that looks like a man? A man that looks like a girl? Would you have anal sex with a girl - if so - would you have anal sex with a transsexual girl? Would you kiss a guy - if so - would you kiss a girl who, for all current purposes, would appear to be a guy? What if you didn't know they were a girl, would you not still enjoy it?

what defines a homosexual?
someone who prefers sexual intercourse with someone of the same sex.
so for men, gay is liking butt sex.(no offense intended)
what is the definition of pansexuality?
someone who is 'gender-blind' and loves for the person.

so a man who goes for a female transsexual would be gay as long as the tranny has a penis.

According to that logic, what about men who like to sleep with only women but like something pressing against their prostate when they orgasm (i.e. you have to jam something in their ass)?

Also you're failing to define homosexuality for women.

homosexuality isn't any different depending on the gender. the only difference is the sexual organs and the people they're attached to. As for the prostate business, that sounds a bit homosexual to me. any man who says they like to have sex with women, but prefer to jam things in their butt is quite on the homosexual side, don't you think???

I used men as example because the original question was to do with the gay guys who are attracted to transexual females, that's why i didn't emphasise on the ladies

Your logic was that homosexuality in men is defined as liking ass-play. That line of reasoning does not in any way relate to lesbian sex. Every single thing for female<>female outside of tribbing is possible with male<>female interaction. And not all lesbians trib ("scissor") so it doesn't apply (it's very hard to do right).

I think the concept of sexuality labels is slowly going the way of the dinosaur and here's why: it doesn't matter. It's an antiquated belief that genders are starkly different. Yes, they are medically different, but when it comes to sexuality, it's incredibly difficult to define.

I have never met a man that was turned off a porno just because there was a dick in it. I've never met a woman into porn that would turn the video off when tits or vag appeared. There are varying levels of sexual preference, obviously, as attraction is in the eye of the beholder. But labelling your sexuality based on how you like to be stimulated in bed is just silly.
