Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolor disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against lonliness and methamphetamine addiction in a quiet American suburb.

Pretty funny collections of edited Garfield comics. There isn't much more to say, but I thought it should be shared.

This has to be my favourite so far. There's something about it that makes me giggle every time I see it.

I wonder if this sort of thing would work with other comics? Calvin without Hobbes, for instance, or Bloom County with select characters absent. The results, though not identical, would probably be just as interesting. : P

God I hate Garfield comics, they just aren't funny. I dunno which is better, though, the ones with Garfield removed, or real cat garfield.

Yeah, there's something about it that is hilarious. It shouldn't be funny, but in some way  its stupidity is just too much. The one where he presses his face against Jon's always makes me laugh.
