Hi, i jus been playing around with some images on photoshop, and trying to think of ma name for the game im making...i wanna now what you people think to this i jus made

and whatcha think to the name = RIPPED : Tales of Deira

Thanks man, i now it isnt sellable proffesional look but its a game for me and ma friends and reletive to enjoy

The idea is great, but it looks kinda messy. The sprites are blurry and they don't fit the style of the background picture. Also, the letters you chose seem more for a futuristic/robot type game, but not all of the sprites give that idea (they make it more fantasy/cute-like).

You could be heading in the right direction, though. It just needs to be cleaned up a bit

ya, i admit its bit blurry ect it was a quick im bored lets do something idea....its the first idea so it will get developed and as for the sci fi writing its modern dimension meets fantasy....the modern its jus pure humans and well lets say war :P

I just think it's a bit too harsh to be in a fantasy setting. It really does invoke a futuristic or robot imagery, so it's just too weird to have a fantasy element to it.

You'll probably have better results with a clean writing that's just a little less blocky, but not fancy (like pure fantasy writing is). I've included a sample as an example on the bottom of the post.

If you want the exact font I used, it's Viner's Hand ITC. You can find it here:
GoldenWeb Freefonts

The fonts are free and they have a lot of different choices

Then all you'll have left is just making it a little less blurry.

Looks good, my only suggestions are to size some of the sprites down, clean up their edges and then maybe do a quick go over of each sprite with the burn tool to get them to fit into the bakground a bit better. (that is if you have photoshop or fireworks or something)

I really like that BG picture too where's it from? (prolly Tales of Diera huh? Im a little slow sometimes)

Definitely clean up the edges of the sprites. The guy with the guns, in particular.

The image in the background doesn't really fit stylistically with the characters in the foreground. I suggest trying to find a more "cartoony" castle image to use.

The different art styles of the different pictures really really clash horribly. Nice concept.... but really bad execution. My advice is to stick to one art style rather than copying and pasting like 5 different ones.
