Future desert tileset

Tonight, I've been working on a tileset for my game. I've only done about an hours work, so there is still plenty more to do. But I think so far it's come out nicely. I've added: a chimney, a generator thingy and a house.

To have I've already done I need to: fix the problem with the window being 1 pixel too high, make the house middle tilable.

I've literally just posted something in studio32 with the same problem you have with these, perspective.

For a circular building, you'd be looking at something a bit more a long the lines of this:

Because at the moment, you'll end up with something like this:

Trust me, you'll want to fix that now before you get too into this.
 
I don't really understand what your saying, I really like the look of those swamp houses. Could you explain what you mean more?
 
Look closer. The perspective is off. It needs to be more 'top-down', as if you were a bird looking down on it from a little distance off, but still in the air above it.
 
I'm still not getting you, you realise the rooves are flat right?

could you give me an example of a flat circular roof that is proper?
 
It's not the roofs, it's the base circle that you do everything from. the roofs are a good guide to that because they're flat- it makes it easier.

Basically stretch them up a bit- make them closer to real circles and less like short fat ovals.
 
Oh, now I get what you mean.

so just make the roof more of a circle rather tnan more of an oval. I'll change that for my next update.

How are you to say they aren't any good when he's only put an hour of work on them?  This is obviously still a wip.  Also, he said it himself in the original post about the window not fitting correctly and that he was going to fix it so maybe you should learn to read.  How about instead of having your head shoved up your ass you take it out and make a real post where you try and help by giving a detailed list of what he can fix to make it better.  Also, where's your tilesets you made and posted?  Oh ok, i get you, never did.

But anyways, I think these will look nice once you've finished.  As was mentioned fixing the perspective will make these look a lot better.  Also I think you need to do a lot more work on the shading.  One color isn't enough to represent shading, so your going to need a bigger palette.  I really like the concept and look forward to seeing your finished product.
