Characters:


Ridge:

Ridge is the MAIN character. He is very powerful he can harness the power of pixels. Everytime he do it gets stronger. His best friend is Shock, and he was in love with Princess Kezia but she is in dead. He works for a powerful man known as Shoeton. He hates his job secretly. His motivation is to protect the ones he holds dear, as penance for his failure to save his one true love, Kezia.

Kezia:

She is the Queen of Kezalia, or WAS, before the Magic Hot Air Balloon put her into dead. She is native to Canada, but traveled west to found the colony of Kezalia. It grew and she was elected the Queen. Her citizens loved her and now that she's gone what's gonna HAPPEN? Ridge was her boyfriend.

Shock:

Shock was the greatest white mage in Kezalia, but he is also the best friend to Ridge. They have lived together as roommates for their almost entire lives. They are simply the best friends that could ever be. Shock harbors deep resentment towards his and Ridge's shared boss, Shoeton.

Duckwasrd:

Duckwasrd, also known as Soupegg, is a duck. He lived in the Duck Village until being exiled due to his politics. He hopes to one day come back, and please.

The big Story:

It all began when Queen Kezia was kidnapped by the Magical Hot Air Balloon. The Balloon cast a spell upon Kezia to make her EVIL. Now tainted, she went on a rampage across the nation.... only through combining powers could the heroes Ridge, Shock, Duckwasrd, and more stop her... unfortunately they could not cure her evil, and she passed away...

It is now months later. Tensions are heating up, as the continent appears poised for war once more. There are talks of a secret weapon being produced by the Mansion, a leading continental power. Will Ridge and Shock give up their jobs at the Mansion and overdo evil? Or will it all be...?

Ok so for a while I thought this was a shitty troll but this looks pretty damn funny in an ironic sort of way. Im downloading now and ill respond later with my feedback.

Ok holy fuck I take it back this is awful. I thought this would be funny because of the shitty art style but dear God. You can hardly read most of the text in some screens (the boos clashing with the white text wtf) Also, whats with the music? I understand this is supposed to be parody but its not funny honestly. Battles were stupid and pointless to game. I spammed, healed and spammed to win. I dont get the plot at all, and the poorly drawn sprite sets look BAD on the surroundings. But lets not forget this:

moral of the story: lol random gamm xD has to be clever or at least funny in its own right. the prerequisite of a joke is that it, yanno, has to be funny.

(I get that you are trying to make the parody part obvious to the audience at some parts but its a bad job because the game itself isnt very interesting! i.e. world map music/town theme)

im still playing though dear lord

There are quite a few glaring errors with anti-aliasing and so on that you really need to deal with especially when they are in your title screen / logo / etc. Other than that I am enjoying the game. Is Ridgequest 2 and 1 around?
