free web hosts?

does anyone know of some decent free web hosts. I want to make a site but geocities and angelfire really blow.please give your feedback

110mb is a good one. There's 100GB of bandwidth per month and 2gb of space, with PHP and MySQL. However, the usage of PhpMyAdmin is prohibited.

PHPmyadmin is not needed. They have a better tool on it anyway. I forget the name of it. Also, a link is not needed really, a google search is sufficient. Just type in 110MB as your query. It's the one I personally use, well until I move to a professional host.

Phpminiadmin is the best alternative.

110mb is brilliant, but they take weeks to answer support tickets recently. Other than that, go with them as they're promising it'll be sorted by June.

I've tried google pages, they didn't have PHP. I don't think they had HTML either.

Try Byethost. They give you a good amount of storage plus PHP and MySQL, and there's only a small google text ad down the very bottom of each page.
