He reminds me a lot of solid snake, I dunno if its the proportions or the beard or something.

I thought those sketches were pretty awesome, but the coloring... well, "coming along nicely", that's a bit of an understatement.

My gripe is that he looks very stiff, especially with his pose. If someone is in a combat stance, they should be a little less open, his arms should be by his side a little more. But whatever. I like the proportions and structure of his body, but just dislike the pose.

Oh, yeah, and his body seems very oily and dirty, from the black you used to shade where his arm casts the shadow on his torso. Black is such a bad color

Edit: You work big, really big. I would like to work big, but I'm a guy that works small, so I can't work big. Which too makes me sad.
And your computer screen shots your mouse cursor. I didn't know computers screen shotted mice cursors. At least mine doesn't.

Edit: Edit: Oh yeah, you have a nice sense of a muted-red color scheme. That - I'm jealous.
