Fortysixand2's Resources of Doom - Transitions and Fogs

These are a bunch of seamless fogs I've been doing up with a texture programme. They didn't take very long, so credit would be quite nice but is by no means required.

UPDATED 7 July. Now with added Transitions. Most of these took a bit longer so credit would definitely be nice, and let me know if you finish a project with them or the fogs in - I'd love to see how they're used.

PROVISIONAL REQUEST STATION:

As an added challenge for myself to improve how I make these, I am willing to take requests for both fogs and transitions. No cost or trade required, but if I make 'em they'll go in the public section here for all to use. No being greedy about it unless yer gonna pay me. Which would be nice, but we all know it's so not gonna happen. :p

So yes. If you have an image you'd like to see use in a transition, or merely an idea for a particular effect; or if there's a type of fog you want to use (I dunno, bubbles, blended shadows, things, give me THINGS); then drop a post in the thread here, and I'll see what I can do. I make no guarantees that a particular fog/transition will be within the range of my abilities, but I'll give it a damned good shot.

I discovered recently that simple, high-contrast pictures make for interesting transitions. Black-and-white woodcuts and line drawings are particularly good. So here are a few I sourced from Wikimedia Commons, mostly from Category:Woodcuts. Most were fine as they were, just needed to be resized/cropped. The Four Horsemen just looked like blobs until I inverted them. And the Earth map has a gradient so that the outlines of the nations will zip out from the centre and then the rest of the screen will wipe back inward.

Cheers. As I said, they're just from my first evening tinkering about with a texture programme. I'm gonna get some decent ones together once I've gotten to grips with the programme properly.

Good ones.
I dont think its possible to animate fogs, otherwise the water one could be been a nice candidate.

do you have any rain / snowfall ?

I can do a snowfall one next - in all honesty I didn't think of it, 'cause I've been using ccoa's weather system for a while now. :) Rain shouldn't be too difficult either. Will try 'em out.

EDIT: Done.
