For those who use finale notepad or baby logic...

Ok well I was making a song in finale notepad when my comp was acting up and then I clicked and clicked becuase I thought it would not load, but then after it loaded, yes my notes showd up...but then when I put down new notes...I did not hear them play as I put them down...I then pressed the playback button and there was still no sound....

So I then saved it as a midi file and played it in windows media player...and it worked perfectly...

Then I opened up babylogic and made a new song but then the same thing happend nothing came out....not a sound...I even pressed play but then nothing....I opened up the song in media player and it worked...
I restarted my comp and it did nothing...

What do I do???

The playback volume control(independent of actual output volume)/style selection is a possible cause, but since it did not work in another program as well makes me doubt that it's the reason.

How did you save a midi on FNP? You mean to say you exported it right? (I ask cause if there is a way to make midi on Finale Id love to know, but there probably isnt)

Can Finale not export Midi? I know notepad, sheet music and [I think] Allegro can. Would seem stupid that the best program out of them all cannot save midi!

Can you export music xml? You could export music xml and import it into a program such as Guitar pro [the free program "tux guitar" may let you do this aswel, I'm not sure] and then export the midi from that program.
