For my next set of questions from the bag of questions...

1. How do you make an attack that allows the user to heal itself everyturn?

2. Is it possible to make a floating platform event? (If so, then it might take awhile to explain this right 2 me)

3 How can i combine some animation graphics sets into one set? (for example, all fire and lightning animations in one set of pictures so you can use them both for one animation)
 
I'm not quite sure what you mean by #1. Do you mean a Regeneration state, or a self-healing attack, or what?

#2: I believe that it can be done, but I'm not quite sure how... the way that I can think of is fairly complex.

3: Ah, an easy one that I can answer. So easy it will amaze you.

Go get a paint program that supports .png files. Now open both graphics sets in that animation program. (Export them first, if you don't have them available any other way.)

Okay, now open a new file that's 960 pixels across, and as tall as both sets combined.

Now you just copy and paste both graphics into the combined image, one above the other, and import them into your project.

Easy as pie.
 
By #1 I mean a regeneration state.

And I tried #3. I used fire and ice as a test. It imported it with all the graphics and stuff, but when i got to the animation maker, the bottom part of the fire graphics wasn't showing on the display, meaning, it displayed the ice ok, since it was above the fire, but the bottom row of the fire graphics wasn't showing on the graphics scrolling bar thingy. Is this the limit or is there a way to change that through scripting?

Oh, and good luck to those who are going to take a stab at #2.
 
Say what? I've never had this problem. How many frames high was the final graphic?

...I'm here assuming that you didn't make it any wider than five frames, or 960 pixels. Anything that goes past that will be cut off.
 
eh, maybe it was my stupid other version of paint that i got that could control png graphics therally (since in normal paint, it looked all crappy). Its set up was weird, it took me forever just to copy one thing to the next, lol.

Well, lets just put those aside 4 now. Have answers to #1 yet? :grin:
 
Two options:

#1: Get a script for it. This forum is a good place to look or ask.

#2: Create a state for Regeneration. Create a common event that checks if every player or enemy has this stat, and if they are, heals them a bit. Now go into every troop and create a battle event that runs the common event every turn.
