Flight of the Jenny Hanniver

Whew, this took forever to write...

The inspiration for this one came from a book series, the Hungry City Chronicles. With this piece, I meant to depict a scene in the first book of the series where the airship, the Jenny Hanniver, is battling against an airship called the 13th Floor Elevator, above the moving city of London. I don't really know why, but I've always had a thing for airships and writing music related to them... haha. But anyway, here it is:

It could probably also be used as a boss fight or some sort of really intense story related event in a game too, with a little tweaking. I might go and edit it so it loops cleanly sometime soon.

Yeah, you can definitely use it in your game, just remember to put my name in the credits somewhere... and like I said, I probably am going to doctor it a little so that it loops better, so then it will actually feel more continuous.

This is fantastic! It reminds me of three pieces in FFXII, all morphed into one. I couldn't find anything wrong with it (not that I was trying to), this is truly an amazing work, well done!

Haha, it seems like I always get the FFXII comparison... but I guess it's valid, since that was part of my inspiration for this. Thanks. Which three pieces though?

Good question. The introduction sounds a lot like Giza Plains, and throughout the song I'm reminded very much of the Sandsea Ogir-Yensa. It also reminds me a little of the boss battle music. God, it's been so long since I played FFXII... I think you mentioned somewhere that Hitoshi Sakimoto was one of you influences in your music.
