Flash CS3 Help?

I'm not even sure if this is the right place for this, but I recently got a copy of Flash CS3 Professional. It's great and all, but I can't for the love of me figure out how to save things as .GIF. I was going to make myself a new avatar, but I couldn't due to my lack of knowledge of the program so far.

Help?.

I'm only familiar with the layout of Flash 8 since thats all I use, but can you go to File -> Export -> Export Movie, and change the filetype to a .gif and save it ?

I'm sure it's something along those lines anyways.
