Okay, so my computer died recently. However, that actually means something pretty good. See, I knew it was going to go, so I went through all my old files and made backups of anything I wanted to save. In doing so, I found lots of old crap that I figure I might as well share now. Among these were four original sprite templates that I've made. Some of you may have seen some of these before- I can't remember if I've ever shared some of them. but here they are, worth checking out.
All of these templates are available for use. I'll show them off in the order of oldest to newest, so you can probably see some interesting improvement.
Prophecy Template
So named because it was made to be used in an old project of mine entitled "Exodus Prophecy". Looking back on it, that game really had a lot of potential, storywise... This template is actually the only one here that has a completed male and female version, so it's pretty much 100% complete. This thing is pretty ancient and a little bit embarassing in some areas, but I learned a lot while making it. No need for feedback on this, it's long done with.

Despain's Template
Oh god, one that doesn't have a gimmicky name. I made this for a game project that I had never really planned on completing- it was more of less a template that I made just to practice with extra frames and- hopefully- smoother animation. He's a littlechubby in the front and back views, but if I remember correctly the side view animates really nicely. There's only a male version, but it could probably work decently as a unisex.
Worth noting: this won't work in RMXP as it is. It uses an extra frame in the animation- if anybody plans on using this, you'll probably have to request or find a script for the template.

Chump Template (Chumplate)
I'm 95% sure that I made this myself, but if not I'm positive that I at least edited it. It was made with the Pokemon style in mind, but it's a little large and gives the face more room to show expressions. It's pretty damn easy to work with. When using it, I personally work on it as it is, but for the finished sprites I blow them up 2x- it matches Pokemon tilesets pretty well that way.

SMOKE Template
Here we go, the cream of the crop. This is probably my best template other than the geredrethM which I'm still working on. Unfortunately, SMOKE still has lots of problems with it (the side view animation bugs me a lot). I absolutely love the idles on this, though, he's a real ripped motherfucker. It's intended for use in more serious modern games. Unfortunately I never got around to making the female version of this bad boy. Unlike the others, I'd appreciate feedback on this one, since I can imagine continuing work on it.

T.A.T.A. Template
The most recent template, I thought I lost it when my computer crashed but I found it on my flash drive. The title comes from the name of the game I was making with it, Time and Time Again, and I don't know if I'll go back to it or not. But hell, I'm pretty proud of the walk cycle on this little guy, and he is adorable as fuck. Plus, it's actually got a complete male and female.
These are intended to be used as platformer sprites- as such there's only two directions. There is a blue area under each frame- this is for positioning reasons in the platforming script that I was using, which uses a slight angle. If you want straight side-view, just remove the blue area and they will stand on the bottom of the tile.
