Well, some instruments sounds a little ramdom, maybe you work more on the melody, the percussions and the background's synths works well.

This could fits on a game like Breath of Fire 3 with a industrial town, I can imagine people working.

Its got a good solid base which is good but in all honesty sounds like several tunes rolled into one. Maybe try isolating a few different bits and splitting them off. The more upbeat bits would make great music for a busy little town or village.

Generally, this is some good stuff. I disagree with Redwitch that it sounds like you put a whole bunch of other tunes into one; I think it all meshes together just fine. Not that I nkow music especially well, but I like it

I have an ear for this sort of thing...yes it all stays along the same basic style and it does 'mesh' but there are certain parts that have a lot of potential for being songs in their own right - I think it'd be great if that potential could be realised a bit more...

strange, and creative - this is one interesting piece of music you got here, man. it keeps moving along and never stays in one place for too long, and there are definitely some cool moments along the way. the quirkiness and unpredictability is great, and the synth you used at the parts where it switches up reminds me a lot of something that might be heard in earthbound. also - that part is super cute (tho im not sure that's what you want to hear or not :0 ).

this is a great first song.

btw i think people new to composing often have some of the neatest, most creative ideas. for whatever that's worth!

I have to completely agree with you Red. I suck at making music myself, but I also have an ear for it when it comes to taking it apart and analyzing it. In a way the music does mesh, but it does sound like there are a couple tunes mixed together. The synth in the background I don’t think is really needed. It doesn’t seem to mesh well for me at all, and seems to take away from the meaning of the music.
