First Post, A Song

I'm a new member here, but I am a moderator at another RM site. I figured I'd share this song here. I am doing the music for an upcoming RM game, and before deciding to take the music in a different direction, I came up with this piece. It started out as an introduction theme, but I think I like it more as an airy battle theme. As a different sound was decided upon, I saw no real need to complete it, but I really like the way it turned out. I basically looped it a few times just to package it as something presentable, but If anyone wants to use it, I'd be glad to finish it up. I'd also like to hear comments, if people are willing. Thanks for checking it out, and I hope you like it~

It was really upbeat and nice. I liked it.
However you may want to change the synth on that wind instrament because its way sharp.

Do you mean the oboe that comes in before the bridge? I was sort of thinking something similar. I might just try turning down the velocity a bit, and see if that softens the attack a bit. Thanks for your comments~

i like it a lot, i think you have some minor mastering issues, some of the highs are a bit much on the volume side of things at certain spots, other than that all i have to say is positive, and you dont post music on a forum for positive feedback, so im not giving any :P

Ah, you know what? I was thinking about what you said, and I realized that the stereo that I run my sound through has an equalizer on it. I have this set for high bass, high treble, and medium mids. This could be the reason that it sounds weird for other people. I'm going to try setting my stereo to flat, and then mixing it internally. Maybe then the mixing will be more consistent for everyone. Thanks for bringing this to my attention~
