I fixed a few outline problems and shaped up the pants just a tad, redesigned the shirt to be simpler, since VERY simple is what I was going for, and used the pallette the way it's supposed to be used(before I was using the highlight as the fill color). However I wasn't sure of how to add the highlight without it looking just like random pixels =/ If someone could help show me how to do that I'd be most grateful =)

The only thing it's missing is any kind of hair, but I can't get hair right at all so I'll leave that till after I perfect his clothes(Yes I've seen Ven's Hair Tutorial, but I can't follow it due to my lack of being able to draw a decent hair outline XD).

C&C Please?
^_^

Yay, another HK artist! The pants look nice, a little messy thou. The outline is missing on top of the right leg. I don't really like that second gag between the legs, it's like some mysterious force is pulling the pants inward.

The shirt seems stiff. It could be the way the winkles stop when they hit the outline. Or Maybe its the solid straight  line down the middle, you're using different colors there but you could change them to make it more noticeable. You Don't have to use a single color for an outline you can use lighter colors at the top of objects. Careful with that right shoulder, going from the dark outline and moving to the center with lighter colors is pillow shading. You don't need that many shades there anyways.

Someone stop me if I'm giving bad advice. I'm thinking about making a tutorial of tips for spriters.

Nice design on pants.
Shirt is too tight, use highlights where the sun is going to make contact... eg shoulders.
Tad more contrast.

Thanks guys! Is it any better now? I tried to follow the advice as best I could, not exactly sure how I did though..

Edit: Noticed some loose pixels on his pants, fixed em ^_^
Edit2: Noticed a few loose pixels in the shirt and fixed the shoulder outline, which looked a little too jagged.

The gap in the legs is bothering me . I realize there is one in the temp, but clothes adds bulk to the figure, so you really shouldn't see that. Theres a good example of HK jeans in my sig .
