Fight system with out battle screen?

Hey Im new here and this place seemed like a good place for rmxp questions so.. I was wondering if there was a simple way to make a battle system just in the regular game? Instead of having you go to the battle screen you can fight the enemy right where your walking. I was wondering if there was some script or something that can transfer all your stats to your char that walks around and enemy stats to an enemy that walks around? I can figure out how to change graphics when needed and all that I just want to be able to have the stats added and damage added without going to battle screen if possible..

Another suggestion: Search Blizz ABS. Its a super simple starter ABS that comes with a .exe file that allows you to edit certain things about he ABS without touching a single script. Then all you do is generate the code, copy, and paste it right into the script page. It's great for beginners. I used it for a long time when I first started making my rmxp games.

Then I switched to VX and now I use Requiem 9. : ) Mmmm.

Good luck.

I have a suggestion: DON'T use XAS. It is NOT a beginner's system, and although it has amazing potential, I've never seen a game made with it in this community. I actually just got done posting in a topic about this.

I reccomend Blizzard's ABS. It's easy to use and configure and it's perfect for newcomers to the engine. Configuring the script without the generator is pretty straightforward and will teach you how to handle that sort of thing.

Another ABS that's somewhere in the middle is Prexus' ABS. It's a great system and has some pretty good features, but it is a little more difficult to configure.
