FFTA "Error in backup memory.

I'mp laying FFTA (Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced in Visual Boy advanced.

And when i try to save by the "Save" command in the game (not the common emulator save)
i comes and error that syis "error in backup memory"

I can't continue the game.
help!

He's talking about playing it on an Emulator.

Just use the Emulator Save State feature, and ignore saving in game. FFTA uses the GBA's battery to save a lot of data, instead of saving it to the cartridge. The Emulator can't emulate the battery.

You have to save though, in order to play the last mission.

There's a patch for it, somewhere, which fixes the problem.

Actually, there are cases where you can save the battery. It all depends on the game, the rom itself, the emulator, and the computer it's played on. Try it with a different emulator if you can, or a different copy of the game (Find a different rom, try a European localization, etc.) If that doesn't work, well, I can't help you.
