Interesting piece. First things I noticed right off the bat is the lack of variation in the percussion. This wouldn't be so bad if there were more elements to the percussion itself, but since there isn't, it really sticks out. I don't know what the intentions for the piece are, but at the moment I'll also say the lack of any real progression is limiting the capabilites of the actual song. If this is meant to be a loop for an RMXP project, this is completely fine.
Also another interesting thing about this is, while I am not getting any strong sense of atmospherics, I get some fascinating mental imagery while listening. I imagine a tropical beach with palm trees, during a sunset. No soundscape is really present though, and I'm puzzled how you managed it hah.
