Faster Autotiles

I was wondering:  Does anybody know how to increase the speed of an animated autotile (ie, the ocean tiles)?

There probably is a deep scripting method, but I don't think there is a way. Other than this you could edit the autotile to move from the first autotile to the second in four separate ways, meaning it will make it a bit quicker. Maybe?

you'd have to create a whole new autotile class - the current one is inbuilt.

im working on rewriting 90% of rgss but sadly... thast rgss, rmxp so i dont expect it'll help unless someone spends years converting it
