Farm Simulator?

Hello!

    I've been curious about farms simulators besides harvest moon. I've done a bit of searching, but have found nothing of the sort. Do any of you, rmxp.org members, know of any computer games that are farm simulators or games like the harvest moon series?

I believe there's a "Sim Farm", but that's about it, and it'd be nothing like Harvest Moon.  HM is pretty unique as far as sim games are concerned.

About the closest I can think of is Animal Crossing, but I've never played it, though I rag on it as being an HM knockoff.

Animal Crossing is more of a social sim.

the only thing about ac that resembles hm is that you can plant trees, collect/sell foods, and talk to people. But it' smuch much more about making friends and collecting items than it is about making a lucrative farm and family.

i mean if ac is an hm knockoff, then lair is a dragon quest knockoff just because it has dragons :/

It's awesome. The 'Harvest Moon' elements are better than ever, and the attached hack-n-slash RPG is actually quite good.

Rune Factory 2 will kick ass.

I love harvest moon, but I don't have the attention span. Rune Factory was the first I "beat" since Back to Nature.
