Fall shows

I'm anxious to see the new Stargate Universe series. I'm not sure if I'll like it yet.
Sanctuary is coming back to Syfy this fall.
There's suppose to be a new season of Heros too. But just like in comic books, whenever they kill someone off they don't stay dead for very long. I got the feeling the show is going nowhere.
I watched Legend of the Seeker online, it's kinda like the old Xena and Hercules shows only it's based off Terry Goodkind's novels. I saw that they were making another season for it and it's suppose to be out this fall.
I only watch crime shows when my family watches them. I found Medium interesting, with all the weird dreams she has. The new season will be shown on a different network though.

Stargate Universe? I know nothing about it. SG-1 and Atlantis were brilliant and flawless; I hope they don't ruin it.

Heroes was a good watch too, look forward to seeing another series.

But the main thing is QI Series G. 16 episodes (longest yet).

Stargate Universe has an entire new cast and doesn't look like it ties in with the other shows. A bunch of people go through the stargate on to this Ancient ship that was used to seed planets with stargates. They get stuck on the ship but have no idea where they are compared to earth. From what I read there isn't going to be an evil race of aliens this time. But there's going to be at least one super geek genius person like Daniel and Rodney.

The first season of Legend of the seeker was based off the book The Sword of Truth. This second season is based on the book the Stone of tears. I want to go read the books but I don't want to spoil the show. I already managed to do that by reading the back of the book cover which gave a way a secret family relation. The character's last name in the book was different then the name in the show.

Actually, the Book was Wizard's First Rule, and the series is SoT. It won't matter if you read the books. They changed som many things during season one that I have no idea how they will keep the continuity. Pretty much all they kept besides character names and descriptions is the very basic gist of the plot. I was actually rather dissapointed. I liked the show, don't get me wrong, but I thought it would have done better if they had not tried to tie it in with the books.

Actually, I'm more surprised you're not talking about shows like V or Flashforward. While I do not know much about them, they do seem interesting.

I don't usually watch ABC, NBC, CBS or FOX. They'll have like one show I'll watch which I probably heard about from someone else or will end up on another channel anyways.

When I watch TV the first channels I go to are CartoonNetwork, Syfy, and maybe Discovery. Everywhere else it's either a show about crime, hospitals, or some kind of game show. Ever since I started college I spend more time on the internet then watching tv.

V? As in... a remake of the original V? Or something else? V was a brilliant series I hope they're not remaking it.

I watched the premiere of Titan Maximum on adult swim. The whole clay animation thing made me think it was going to be a robot chicken spoof of mecha anime. But I guess it's an actual show. I hope it does well.
Oh yeah! I was surprised to hear about the Family Guy spin-off, The Cleavland show, I missed it yesterday. Anygood?

I'm watching Stargate Universe. I'm only halfway though it and I HATE it! It's so dreary and all the characters are douchebags there's nothing to like. I hope they all die in the end.
Edit: Ok, so I don't like the characters but it'll probably be a good show. It's just so different from the other Stargate shows that I wouldn't even call it Stargate. It's sooo serious and everyone is a downer. I hope future episodes are more upbeat.

Maybe I missed it. But when they where trying to decide who they'd sacrifice to close the room with the air leak, why didn't they use one of those remote probes to do it?

The probes cant operate the controls. all they are is a fly-eye.

Unless the controls need a human touch to work, I imagine they could have used the probe to bump into the button or something.

i heard from a coworker that the cleavland show was balls. just like 30 minutes of racial slurs and a talking bear for no apparent reason.

I watched the first couple episodes on Hulu. I was expecting it to be a show with black people for black people. It actually pokes fun at those kind of shows. If there were any racial slurs I didn't notice, unless you count their red-neck neighbors.
It's kinda like Family Guy. Cleveland Jr replaced Meg. The Bear replaced Brain as the talking animal only he's Christian. You've got a kindergartner that replaces Stewie. They still poke fun at celebrities.

I watched an episode of it the other day.. wasn't funny at all. And yeah, that bear is there for no raisin, I mean wtf. The show is not funny at all.. just garbage with pointless babbling and no good punchlines.

the whole justice league thing was funny imo, but the cleveland show is awful and needs to get cancelled

Stargate Universe was a little better today. It's still just an hour of people bitchin and moaning over how bad they got it. I'm curious how the show will move forward now that they've fixed the air problem. Next they'll need food. It's like survivor only on a starship and instead of getting voted off the island you get shot or left behind on a planet. I still don't see it as a stargate show, the stargate isn't even blue anymore, its silver.

I actually like the Cleveland Show. I didn't like the theme song at first but it's been stuck in my head all day. It's nice watching him adjust to his new life and family. I'd still watch it if they took out all the pop culture jokes and comedy. Whats the point if it's just going to be like Family Guy in every way? I've only seen a few episodes of American Dad; I always thought that it was a clone of Family guy too but it's got it's own humor. I'd like it to stand on it's own.
I was browsing thru the hulu comments. It doesn't look good, mostly 1 out of 5 stars. "White peoples view of a black family", "Boring", "Family Guy Clone".

American Dad is really NOTHING like family guy, except for the family resemblances, which is why I like it. Watch some more episodes and youll see what I mean

Watched the first two eps of Universe; a tad slow so far. I'm glad they got the original cast in for at least a brief stint. Gotta see more to make judgement though.
