Failed to create empty document?

Well just today I recently opened up RPG Maker VX and it came out saying "Failed to create empty document", does anybody know what that means? I've been uninstalling the program and re-installing it but it just keeps saying "Failed to create empty document". Can anybody help me with this problem? :down:
