Facile characters wip

Yo, i am now working on some other characters for Facile and wanted to know what you guys think about them (especially about the side frame hair for the female), the fem is further along and that's the first i will finish, then i'll move on to the cat.

They look excellent. Nice job on the shading. May I ask what paint program your using? (I always ask that for a reason lol)

They remind me very much of the RM2K/3 sprites. Their bodies' proportions, anyhow. I'm not a big fan of small templates but you did nice work on the palettes and shading so there are no beefs to bring up :thumb:

MistTribe: I mainly use graphics gale but i sometimes work with paint as well.

Venetia: Trying to stay away from too many bland colors now, been keeping my eye out for that.

:D Thanks, and i hope others will give the temp a try someday, believe it or not i may actually stick with this one for quite a while, i'm having more fun working with this temp than any of the others for some reason

Here's the other side of the head for her, and i forgot to add that clothing collar last time, i have added that to the other side as well now.

I know that the white dots on the girl are supposed to be earrings, but they look a little odd... I don't know why.. Maybe I'm just being picky... :s

But these are great sprites, specially the cat! He's kinda cute~! :.D

The sprites are very good. But I think, the females arm (especially in the front view) looks too muscular. She looks like shes in a rowing team or something.
But nice work on the shading and everything else.

Kisa Yukaki: Hmm it may be a good idea to darken the earing pixels a tad, maybe too bright...

Sapphire: The arms for the female are fine bud, i think you are looking at the temp/character by itself, i want you to look at it compared to the male.

Female is halfway complete, i have the frontal animation complete as well as the back standing frame, now moving to side frame 2nd and 4th, i think i will start uploading all complete characters straight to the download manager instead of the temp thread, good idea or not?

I wouldn't recommend putting it on the download manager until there's a more decent number of sprites with this template. Especially since nobody can really get any decent use out of it until there are more of them, and then release a pack ... Can't imagine it'd be a really thrilling game to only have one chick running around in the world. (I'm one of the new DL Resource approvers for sprites/tilesets, and I found out it's rather frowned upon to have lots of little files as opposed to one larger zip file.)

Ah i see what you mean, i will wait till i have a couple more characters then before i upload, until then i will stick 'em in the temp thread, thanks ^^

Edit: Here's the wip on the cat man , this is a temp really, i will make a character with it when i'm done with the female cat person, and i will make a cat kid soon as i make the kid :thumb:
