I was bored a while ago so I made an image of a face, today I resized it to fit with RMXP.

any comments? its free to use, with credit.

Functional..and simple.  Not really much else to critique on it.. What kind of hat is that he is wearing?

I dunno, it's just a red hat, it doesn't have a brim kind of like a cross between a beenie and a cap.

The eyes look too small, such that you can't really see the detail and it doesn't give light on the character's personality. The nose doesn't look very defined, or maybe it's just that the shading is very light. The hair looks like you used some photoshop filter, and you didn't draw in any eyebrows. Could use some improvement.

I'm not saying that it doesn't have to be, i'm just saying:

        - Pointed chin
        - Hair, Extra spiky
        - Lines for mouth, nose etc.

If you were after a real face, then more detail is required. Oh, and WTF is that line between his eyes?

I don't really care if he's going for an "anime-ish" look (I am doing that for my own face sets, even though I do it "my own" way), but more concerned that the face doesn't seem to give much light to the character's personality to me. Also, I think that line is the curve to give presence of the nose, in that case he should have completed it depending on his light source.
