Hey fellas. What's your favourite thing that's happened around the forums this year?

A lot's happened - the fiveyears contest, the reorganisation, the name change, the ORGy awards, various contests, various admin and mod shifts...

Uhh.. I'd say the name change definitely.

The ORGy awards for me definately. They were fun to do even if it was a lot of repetitive work. A few niggles here and there but it turned out cool in the end ;o

Maybe, but I think the name change has had the biggest impact on the forums, and it's definitely something that can be remembered, I mean, all you guys from .net can still remember the move over, right ?

The contest to me, just feels like a normal contest that any memeber would create, but with more publicity around the forums, and big cash prizes, don't get me wrong, that's good and all, but it'll only get done again for like, the 6th anniversairy or something, lol.

The first move to me was a little... iffy. I mean rmxp.org was only ever a backup site for when rmxp.net would go down - it wasn't meant to be permanent. I think by becoming hbgames.org we removed all link to rmxp.net and proved we're more than just a backup dump.

It's our biggest stand, yes. Like the 4th of July for the americans.

Except we certainly wont get a national holiday for this.

The site change is up there, but the name is also pretty awesome.

Done. ;3 Seriously we need to stop putting things in the Rec Room if they could be elsewhere.

I think the biggest thing has been the switch from just RM* to other game makers. It really broadens our focus, which is good considering RM is starting to fade out and it's fun to experiment and learn about different makers.
