Event CBS?

I don't think this would be under scripting board...anyway. Can anyone give an example of an event based CBS? Cause I've that you can make a CBS with events...but I don't now how to do that. Just a basic example would work, just so I can get an idea of how they are made... Thanks for any help given ^_^

i can just hear the community wide groaning from this post.

use the google search bar at the top of the page to look up ur topic.  check old threads, there are a dozen on this topic.  download other people's completed games that include evented cbs systems and take a look in the Common Events area and take a look at the events on the pages where fighting takes place.

If ur starting from nada and have no idea how evented systems work and what their limitations are (generally a small amount of enemies per map, like 5 or less) then consider using the XAS battle system... it is well explained and there is a demo.  google the xas demo and i'm sure you'll find it.

If you don't know how they work, then you're not ready to make one.

Learn:

• Variables/switches
• Pictures
• Button Input

That should be enough to get you started.
