10/9/09 - changed screenshots and added poll.
9/29/09 - Due to how busy I am, I cannot update the screenshots(the newer ones look better) and I know the title screen name is wrong since I have just gone under a name change.
9/24/09 - Name Change to Eternity's Point.
9/22/09 - Demo released!
9/12/09 - Demo might come out at September 22nd.

Story

On the continent of Lordinca, the mainland and islands are split up into four territories for each Clan - Twilight, Ember, Aqua, and Swords. They disputed over land for centuries. Many lives were lost until they had finally agreed on them. All four of them soon set up two other cities - Emerald City(named for the Emerald Ocean) and Island City. They would go there if they had any conflict. Soon, out of nowhere, the Swords Clan suddenly gained strength. Their people were stronger. They knew very advanced techniques. And as the king of Swords had passed away, a new king, hungry for power, invades the Twilight Clan.
For the people of Twilight, hope was lost. Until, a prophet comes telling the King and Queen "Twelve heroes will come and stop those Swords!" And so, our protagonist, Edgar, in his home waiting for his father to return. After about four minutes he comes home, the Swords launch an attack on Edgar's town. That battle changed Edgar's life... Edgar's father was captured by the Swords. However, Edgar will soon realize that the Swords are not his true enemy...

Those maps in your screenshots look really Secret of Mana-ey, I like it, though I'm not sure about how I feel about "fun and annoying." That isn't an Obligatory Out-Of-Genre Stealth Section, is it?

v Basically, "are you dodging and hiding from guards in a game that isn't a stealth puzzle game by definition"
 
I like what you got so far, the scenery on the maps do look pretty good. But i got a question for you, on the screenshots you have the display on the upperleft for the hp and mp, did you draw these yourself or was it a script? I really wanna learn how you can take a picture file and put it on display like that. but i hope to see more, do you have any character sketches?

EDIT:
Apparently, I've forgotten to include instructions on how to install the font!
For Windows XP:
Go to C:/(or whatever letter it is)XP/Font
Place the "Spirit Medium" Font in there. :)

For Windows Vista:
Right click on the Font
Click "Install"

Mac - Sorry, I don't this...
 
In the village after the soldiers, couldn't leave one of the houses to the southeast of city due to lack of teleport event, and couldn't seem to complete John's training.
 
Lack of teleport event? I just checked that, and there's a teleport event for that...

And yeah, I forgot to make a switch turn on

I must've been doing homework >_>

I'll fix that soon.

EDIT: Download Patch here. Then put it in the "Data" folder. That should clear things up.
 
Based on your screenshots your mapping is terrible.

You're using the grass with outter dirt autotile wrong and everything is too straight and symmetrical. Those lilypads don't belong on the water.

and how is it straight and symmetrical? Why don't the lilypads belong on the water? You're not giving me constructive critisim. Well, you sort of are, but you're just saying something's wrong and you never give why it's wrong.

And plus, are you generalizing on one screenshot?

As in you have large boxes of weeds and paths. Your interior rooms are much too big. The lily pads just don't look right. It's a common mistake people make but they're not really designed to be on water. I'm looking at all of your screenys.

Also, it seems you're overlapping your tree shadows on 2 layers, this is creating a darker non-translucent shadow.

Oh yeah, this is a really old screenshot. In the old one, the logo is different and the tree shadows aren't transparent.
Also I don't see boxes of dirt paths and weeds. They're not boxes.

In all the mapping tutorials, they put lily pads in the water ._. I guess they do kind of look wrong in the water.
I was also going to work on making the interior a bit smaller since someone else already pointed out the interior was a bit empty.

I'll try to get better screens tomorrow.
 
Demo removed temporarily

There's been too many bugs probably because I didn't have enough time to test before the 22nd came... so I decided to remove it and re upload a fixed, bug-free version later. :)
