The 4 great nations were at peace, the water could be heard, the wind would blow. However, little did they know about the Freedom's treasure, the Eternal Freedom, which could be granted to their nation. However the nations did not care for the treasure until the attack of the monsters. It was unknown where these vile beasts were sent from. The leaders started to worry until one of the nations' leaders found out that the treasure of peace would grant their nation freedom and even protect from the vile beasts. However this soon spread around the nations and the leaders had to do something. Therefore the race started, the race to the Island of Hope. This place was hard to reach because of the vile beasts surrounding it and because of the other nations who were also after the treasures. Now where these beasts came from was unknown and the leaders were afraid of what type of attacks they had, but they took their chances, because of that, the leaders soon figured out that these monsters were only baby monsters. They became afraid of the mother monster. Since the treasure was believed to be able to free them from the monsters, they labeled it The Eternal Freedom Treasure Of Enigma .


The Game start story:Lyone Reishu has just announced his ongoing from the Enigma Tribe, which the reason was unknown for everybody else than him, as he travels back to his home village he runs into dusins of Monsters which is no match for him, as he reaches the village he tells why he decided to forfeit from the Enigma tribe, as the reason now was open and abvious people started to worry on what would happen if what Lyone told was true, was really the Enigma Tribe that Cruel or has Lyone misunderstood?. as he runs into his fellow childhood friends, he remembers what he left and decides to stay in the village and train in peace without assigments or so, but when he thought things were at place Cedrick shows up.

Finally some of the new stuff to show you, remember this is very early development Pictures and any critic are welcome so that i know what to do in the full game, This is just a test map showing the battler and some of the enemies

The HUD will be tweaked and better looking, aswell as this already is under progress, ive had many efforts to make it cool looking, i succeded once but i decided to leave it, cause it was to bad set up, but maybe il bring it back

Another New and fantastic Q&A

We are now talking with Sicon developer of Eternal Freedom and we have many questions and they will probably be answerd in the new Q&A here ok here we go

Q: Since last time has there been any changes to the game?
A: Alot of them actually, we have done many edits on the maps and we also have gotten further in the installment.

Q: what about the demo, any release date revealed?
A: as said the last time i am not sure if i can say the exact release date and i really wish that i could say the demo is comming soon, but i cant say that as of now

Q: Thats to bad, is there any hope for it comming soon?
A: Actually its a very big chance its comming before vacation, if the bugs and such are edited and the sprite is done in time i dont see why we cant release the demo soon

Q: Has the game been crashed at some point or has it been in tip top shape?
A: Good question as for me yes the game had been crashed all effects were gone when we were hitting the monsters all you could see was damage nothing more the effects were completely destroyed also many bugs caused it to crash

Q: Has it been Corrected?
A: Yes it sure has, we had to move the whole game into a new project and as we did that all of our animation went great and the effects were back so we merely fixed it when we moved the project and it was amazing to see the effects splashing and causing damage very cool

Q: What about the HUD any changes on it or is it just basic?
A: I cant answer that question fully, but we will se what custom edits we can add on it trust me we will see to that this game has no flaws

Q: What about the mapping it seems really impressive from last time?
A: Thank you, its not my work our mappers are really good they have been working really hard to bring it to its glory as we see now

Q: I know this is a long shot, but when is the full game to be seen?
A: Funny question, but i guess i can answer it seems that our game will be released 2010 as of now, but maybe it will even be end of 2010 i dont know for now

Q: The Battle system and the animation looks beatifull is it anything you can tell us?
A: yes the animations are really well developed and they bring the explosive effect to the game we have made sure that every animation is going to work properly, also as you hit with the sword the animations will be really sweet and the voices will be awesome, the sprite in the game is going to be changed real soon, also as we developed further and further we noticed that the animations covered about 77 mb of the game meaning that badly the game will be abit heavy download for those with bad download speed at the internett, the full game is estimated to take over 100 MB

Q: The Limit break system sounds fun can you tell us something about it?
A: Id rather not reveal everything as this is a cool feature of the game, i am sure many has tried it before, but no more can be said sorry

Q: Why did you choose ABS instead of something more easy to use such as Takentai battle system?
A: you actually know the answer if you think closely, todays RM games are very filled with such battle system and some people love hack and slash games i am here to bring that to them with the highest animation and greatest sound effects, the battle system is chosen for its capasity of allowing me to many edits on it, bringing new type RM games to RRR and other gaming forums aswell

Q: Is this really your first game or have you been in other games?
A: I Can say this is my first game i am putting much effort in it no doubt, i have been doing many other cancelled projects trust me and those projects learned me alot of stuff that i have taken over to this game, my point is to make a great first game

Q: End of our Q&A once again any comment or any sayings
A: yes before this ends i would like to talk about combination attacks, as people are familar XAS allows combination attack very much rather active type, as i take the advantage of this machine i am turning the game into something drastic in combination, i am very much to bring the game to new hights meaning i will include a combination techquinqe and also allow the deep combat to use more magic than other games, in black and white arts of the game your choice which one you like White arts or the Black Arts, so keep a close look on to the game okay

Thats whats been changed in order to reach this level of the game, remember New images later so dont judge the game from images for now, those are old images from the old thread
 
o.O! Rippings!The face quality looks very pixel like, in my country ripping things are officially illegal so i won't do any rippings for the other countrys i don't know, but this game looks like a lot of thing are copyrighted form another game which is disgaea.

As long as he's not making this game for commercial purposes, then it should all be okay! XD

Holy crap. If you're gonna use XAS, at least try to sprite some battlers or your own main character and not use Aluxes. It's totally generic. Anyway, at least get someone who knows how to sprite or do it yourself. Also it's not very good to make a game using pictures from another game, it just looks outta place. Good luck, though. I'm using XAS too.
 
I'm working on that pal ;) it's just that it takes awfully long because of the fact that the character is the one you see all throughout, so it needs to be spot-on
My mistake, they've moved on to rips, still arshes is going bye-bye - trust me
 
Guys i love the critics, its spot on what ive been looking for, but i will not change the whole game as the last one was well, basicly not better, ive changed to new pictures so you can check out our real main character, it seems this game is a Ripp game where most of the things are from other games, but i did not ripp those things actually read this

and mostly of RMXP games are to RTP, its time games starts stepping out from RTP heaven, and goes into custom stuff, enjoy the new pictures and thank you for the critics
 
I just noticed something. If you look at your character's faces, their qualities are actually LOWER than the ones in the game, as expected from a rip. However, Laharl is playing an IMPORTANT role? -_-" He's important already in Disgaea =P, don't make him more! Just kidding. However, just to point out something, laws in most countries PROTECT games sprites from being ripped. Although this is NON-commercial, just wanted to point it out, just in case. Your project has changed alot since I last saw it but back then, it sounded alot better. You've changed your logo too? Guess it was a matter of time anyway.

Something else, who the **** is Blair? I'm pretty sure EB never made Adell's face... The screenshots are small, so I'm unable to provide critique.

I'll be keeping an eye on this project. It does seem..interesting. Finally, I hope you get a demo out soon. I want to test it out. See what it is like. Mind you, don't spoil Disgaea's reputation with bad mapping :mad:
Just kidding..But seriously. Get good mapping, ok?
 
Well, I just read through your post thoroughly. Your characters are averagely fleshed out but PLEASE ask your writer to edit it. I could spot a few grammar changes now and then. Your story isn't that cliche. But, trust me, no human can kill dozens of monsters and still stay alive unless they are elite troops and why is he alone fighting? You have given no reason thus far. Also, how do the monsters look like? And this.. Eternal Freedom, why hasn't it been snatched yet. You could send a single canoe with a fast runner on it to snatch it from the Mother Monster quickly. Also, technically speaking, there should also be a Father Monster as most creature don't do asexual reproduction. I shall write more when I spot more errors in your writing.
