Error With RMXP....

I keep Getting this error saying, "Failed to initialize DirectX Audio." My sound drivers are screwy and I don't have sound right now... "after my sound card got broken" and well anyway to emulate audio? or get around this error? I have directx 9.0 so don't ask to download it.

Well, I think you pretty much solved your own problems. It says that you have a problem with directx sound card and you said that you sound drivers aren't working right. Have you ever been able to run the program at all?? I'll see what I can come up with though and post back when I find something that might help.

Yes I have been able to run rmxp with my sound card thats broken now, thats my issue, my sound card = busted. That's why now I can't use it. I was able to with my sound card. But its broken so I don't want to spend like $30 for a new sound card...

Well, I think you are unfortuatly out of luck here in this instance. You could try to roll back your sound drivers to see if that helps (i think you can roll those back...). If that doesn't work, I think you would need to buy a new sound card.
