Equip armor using a call script?

Hey guys, first post here. This is verging on a necropost almost, but as an extension of the question here, within Guillaume's multi-equip script which I use, both weapon hands are represented by an ID of 0. This means that any attempt to equip an Offhand (Weapon number 2) just tries to equip it in the first.

I am very new to Ruby and RGSS as a whole, am only just making the transition from RM2k3 to XP now actually <_< so forgive me if this is an incredibly obvious question.
