this is my first game : Entaria

Genre
-RPG/Action/Adventure

Soundtrack:
-By me and from one of my friend

Battle System:
-Not sure
-maybe secret of mana like real time fighting system

Featuring:
-Many lands, magics and creatures
-The important story happenings in comic pages
-graphics made by watercolor and a little photoshop.

A sort summary of the story.:
-There was two neighboring planets, a big one ( entadon ) and a smaller ( tenzeria ).
One day a mysterious comet went away between them and they have been pulled together ( because of the grav. and some " special kind of magic" ).
The entadon's magus masters, fused their power to stop the catastrophe and the 2 planets collided into one.
Thats how Entaria were borned. Many years has passed and entaria's past became a legend ( they can't travel in the desert what is around the 2 planets encounter, because the 2 magma became one but the 2 planet spheres are moveing to each other.So there are many earthquakes and lava eruptions and the whole location is full of poisoned gas. ).
The story is about a hunter boy who is living on the mountains ( thats why its whitey,the lower area's has more contrast :))
alone,- but his village is not so far from him- and a little princess girl who is just lost her kingdom at the beginning of the game.
They are going to an adventure across on entaria.
Thats all in short.
Well as you can see,i would like to build the game without tilesets and ect...
It like legend of mana ( or saga frontier ) example.
This isn't the first watercolor styled rpg by maker, there was a fantastic game called :sunset over imdahl
what is made by maker 2003 i think.
I hope to follow that with entaria but i wasn't lucky with my only helper becase (he done everything i wanted but it was extremley hard to co operate with him) he was always wanted to figure the solution by my self ( he said thats how im gonna learn the program) ...
So right now im alone again in the project and this way its never gonna move foward.
Entaria is my first game i ever started and once i know enough the maker xp to bring to fruition my desires ,probably im gonna send to rest the project, because i have a much more greater rpg idea in my head ( and on paper ).

Could you tell us more about the game? Plot. Characters. Setting. Etc.

You could also tell us what kind of systems you would like to implement into your game. You will find there are many resources and scripts in the forums. Some examples of system include the following. Custom battle system. Pixel movement. Day and night system. Weather system. Custom menu system. Etc.

Your backgrounds are really nice, by the way. They do seem a bit unfinished. The first screenshot, for instance, has a weird looking sky and needs more contrast.

What sort of game are you planning to make?
 
Up to the boy and the princess, it's a great story. I was entertained. On a similar note, edit your first post. It's a mess. Look at other game threads and see how it's done. Otherwise, people won't be interested in your idea.

By the way, making a game like Sunset Over Imdahl is really easy. The maps have basically three elements.
  • 1. Floors. These are static background images which take up the whole map. They go beneath the characters.
    2. Roofs]. These are static images which also take up the whole map. They go on top of the characters.
    3. Invisible tiles. These are invisible tiles which do not let you pass certain areas. They are the same level as the characters. In your game, you must have two basic kind of tiles: passable and not-passable. You should eventually make both of these tiles invisible, but when editing, you could have green for passable and red for not-passable. Get the idea?

    Another option, as I have already implied, would be pixel movement. There's a pixel movement script for RPG Maker XP in the forums. Why don't you look for it?

Man, I remember SoI! It was a really nice style, but the hand-drawn art suffered a little from RM2k's low resolution. Just from these screenshots, I can see this is a lot more polished. I hope you can find the help you need to finish it, because so far it looks incredible!

And yeah, you should probably edit that story and character information into your first post. Just makes it easier for newcomers to the thread to tell what your game's all about when it's all in one place, you know?
