Edward cullen and Jacob black from the highly popular supernatural teen vampire romance series of novels, namely called the Twilight saga. A highly successful series of novels, they were recently adapted into films. Twilight garnered a lot of fans over Edward cullen, who was some hot vampire dude, and its sequel, New Moon, garnered fans for the cool new werewolf guy, Jacob black. The two conflicting sides make up Team Edward and Team Jacob, so this thread is basically doing that... yeah...

Not only that, you dont even explain what the hell team Edward or Team Jacob is or what it is from. If you are going to do this, at least give some info. And I am honestly flabberguasted that you think that this thread should of already been made. Honestly, its kind of pitiful if you ask me.

Yeah, this is a pretty terrible thread. You have to elaborate and give us some background info so we actually know what the heck you're talking about. Although to be fair this doesn't really merit a topic on its own, since it's not really a discussion as it is a clash of opinions.

If you're going to start a thread like this, at the very least give us some context so you don't look lazy.

Yes. That's one discussion. Another opinion is that it's written very well and holds my attention. True, anything past the first reading makes one see how shallow bella is and whatever, but that first time held a lot of fun stuff happening. The way it was marketed to women worked, and that is why it is so popular. It's mainstream entertainment, and that's why I'm creating a topic to discuss it.

The first time I tried reading it was the last and I didn't get very far. Page 100 or something. It was absolutely terrible. -.- Every other line is about how all the boys fancy her and how gah :| it's I dunno. It's sad because up until now vampires were cool. Now everyone and their mother has a vampire book that's trying to be Twilight that's trying to be Bronte with a dark twist.

And yes frankly on the scale of things even mawk is a better character than Edward.

Also, your background info sucks. You cant expect everyone to know what Twilight is, because not everyone knows. Even so, you do not explain who this Jacob or Edward is. You basically talk about two hot guys who are dark fantasy creature things. Whats the conflict. Where is the background info.
