Editing The Menu

I need help with the menu.
I am making a Zelda game, and I need to remove some things from the menu.

Since you only have one character, the party list in the main menu screen needs to be removed. It looks tacky and is completely useless.

Also, I want to get rid of the Status option and the status displays in all windows. The stats in Zelda are displayed on-screen or determined by what weapon you have, so having a status screen doesn't make much sense.
