Dungeon Keeper I - II - III

Hey, have any of you guys ever played Dungeon Keeper I or II? If not I strongly suggest you look it up, best PC by far and away, but III was canceled awhile back and the company, bullfrog, passed away *sniff* *sniff* ANYWAY -- moral of the story is to go get a copy of Dungeon Keeper, but the real thing I wanted to talk about was that there is a group of people trying to make a unofficial Dungeon Keeper III here,http://warfortheoverworld.org/, and I would encourage all you people who know code or if you have a nack for drawing evil pictures while eating chickens and slapping imps to go and check it out ( not sure what code their using so you would have to get in contact with the head leader man dude )

Also, I was wondering if anyone here actually still plays this game or may have it tucked away in a closet somewhere? maybe? Just wanted to get a feel if there really was a dungeon keeper fan or two roaming around the forums ^^

On another side note the dungeon keeper license was sold to a japanese company I believe so if this project doesnt pull through all of the happy days of slapping imps shalt be lost for ever in a stupid MMO :'(

I have played Dungeon Keeper II, although a while ago so I don't have it on me right now. However, I did like it, and the digging concept/mechanic was unique and cool imo.

I thought it was brilliant, and the only game that came semi-close to its glory was evil genius, and it was a pretty big let down... Im just surprised that no other game companies have made a game with that kind of mechanics ( Overlord tried to copy its humor and did a pretty good job though )

Yeah, I mean the only recent copy I've seen based off on the system from Dungeon Keeper II is a mod for Starcraft II and it looks pretty cool. Although it is kinda sad that it hasn't been revamped for a full, new, standalone game.

There is a game called Dungeons that was recently released on steam that is meant to be a successor to Dungeon Keeper I and II. It has a very Overlord feel to it, but its quite good.
