Duke Nukem Forever trailer released. Seriously.

If you're unfamiliar with the series, Duke Nukem was a game from back in the 90's that featured a disgruntled, badass named Duke Nukem. His games often featured him fighting aliens or demons, and his signature move was to take a dump in his enemies mouth after he killed them.

The series is also famous for being the #1 game in the vaporware hall of fame. This is due to that Duke Nukem Forever was supposed to be released ten years ago by 3-D realms. Apprently, they just decided to release a trailer for it. It seems almost sad, and I honestly think that this game will NEVER be made.

It's not a trailer, it was something a couple employees did for a few nights to show off at their christmas party. I liked it, but the line at the end was kinda disappointing

(Interestingly, the only other game I can think of being delayed that long also has Forever in the title and is due out in a few days.)

There were times back when I worked at Game Stop, where we would dare each other to sucker someone into reserving that game.  We knew it was five dollars they'd never see again.  It was especially satisfying when we hit the same person twice.  Even more so if they were an asshole.

I think they picked name for the game too soon. Because it is taking forever to be made and released, people will make fun of it for the rest of the world's life span. Unless they are working on it part-part-part-time, it will NEVER be released. 10 years for an FPS, unless it takes weeks non stop playing to finish, or it has real life graphics or something else epic, it is just taking too much time. Don't bother waiting for it.

I personally am not a fan of the Duke Nukem games, having never really played one...
But I think once the fabric of the universe splits, the earth's core turns into molten albatross(s), and we all play out a part in a massive LARPing game... Duke Nukem Forever will be released. I can't help but look at him though and think "1990's" because of his massive muscles, his cigar, and his funky glasses. It is just so... I dunno... Archaic?
