Drawing bitmaps and text in window borders.

I want to draw bitmaps and text very close to the edge of a window. However, anything near the edge of a window is abruptly cut off. What do I change in the code to increase the size of a window's inherent invisible "draw-box?"

I think, although I'd have to test it, that the borders are drawn OVER the content bitmap in a window; thus, you'd have to draw your icons as sprite and then calculate the right coordinates relatively to the window's top-left corner. Then, simply make sure the sprite's Z level is above the Windows, so that it draw on top of it.

There might be easier solutions though, but I haven't played around with VX too much yet.
