The Complete Games (and Projects in Development) forums now have download buttons.
You have to implement these for your games because the concept of a download means different things to different games.
For Game Players
If a game developer has set up a download link, you can download their game using this button in the top right of their game page.
If they have not you will see this:
Please note that by clicking this link you are leaving HBGames.org and we take no responsibility for the content or conductivities of external websites. Use is at your own risk.
For Developers
You need to choose one link to be your "download" link. This can be a link to a page that contains your download links - if you have multiples to choose from. It can be a link to a HTML5 game hosted on the web. Or, ideally, it will be a direct link to a file.
To set up your link, simply add this BBCode to your initial post.
[download]http://url.tld[/download]
Place the url of your link inbetween.
For tidiness and thread management purposes, this BBCode can be the first thing in your post, as it will not display anything, it just sets up the button.
Retrospective Additions
We may (and probably will) add download links to older games. We will guess what link should be the download link. If you have a problem with this you can always go in and edit it yourself later on.
